Vaulted ceilings and speaker placement (1 Viewer)

Any info on ceiling speakers placed in vaulted ceilings? I want to put in some top front speakers and am curious of the effect of the vaulted ceiling. Thx

Are you referring to reflecting "Atmos Ready" speakers? Their benefit is minimal at best, especially with a vaulted ceiling. Probably not worth the expense.

If reflecting atoms are the style that sit on top of front speakers firing at ceiling and reflecting down I was not speaking about those. I was referring to ceiling mount speaker. After I posted my question I did see some ceiling speakers that had the baffle mounted at an angle I think that would offset the angle of ceiling

Yeah, there are angled ones, though it doesn’t have to be perfect.

The ELAC Debut line is especially good, and they have an angled in-ceiling model. It is a bit pricey, but not out of line.
