I just received another email from FAH:

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know that Aliens Special Edition has been fixed for Apple TV.

What’s been fix because the special edition is still in HD on Apple TV.

The Aliens SE was not working on Vudu (FAH) on Apple TV devices. Todd and I have been complaining for weeks and been in touch with customer service. They've now fixed the issue and the movie plays properly.

I checked the FAH app on my Apple TV 4K and the SE under special features played just fine in DV and Atmos (it wasn’t playing at all for the last month).

I wasn’t using the FAH app on my Apple TV device. I was using the iTunes and Apple TV+ apps on my ATV4K device.
