If true, whoa. And, yes!
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a tonal adjustment for the new season; Disney is looking for PG-13 content for Disney+. I'd hazard a guess that the main reason for the new title is so that the new season would be listed as a separate series and not behind the TV-MA parental controls lock like the Netflix "Daredevil" series. While I greatly enjoy Marvel movies and the ABC shows, I had to stop watching the Netflix series after just a couple of seasons. While the shows are well-made, they are so dark, violent, and seedy that they were sucking all the joy from my soul and I couldn’t take it any more. But I’m glad fans of these shows will now get more of what they like.

Not a high bar...I will say, Iron Fist S2 is a major improvement over S1
Well, I wouldn’t call this official. The tweet is from a site that reports on Marvel. We’ll see what comes from D23.It's been rumored for several months, possibly even before rumors of a new Daredevil series. Nice to see official confirmation.
That kid was great in Many Saints and he was solid in a supporting role on The Deuce as well.
Another cast member from The Deuce? I'm impressed.
This might be controversial to some, but I think it's a great move.
Yeah, Kevin Feige has said he's a big fan of Iron Fist, so I expect we will see him sooner or later, perhaps even in conjunction with Shang-Chi.I think there’s no question that the Immortal Iron Fist will be used in the MCU. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a recast though.
