I couldn't remember if it gave you that choice because I always use MA directly to redeem my Warner codes instead of wb.com/redeemmovie.

While searching for films I was disappointed to see how many films from the 30's and '40's are only available on SD on iTunes.

Films such as
Shop Around the Corner
Libeled Lady
Dinner at Eight
After The Thin Man
Arsenic and Old Lace

and many others. The one's I listed all are available on blu ray but only stream SD.

I found this while searching for films during one of FanFlix multiple buy sales.

The Women (1939) is $4.99 at iTunes. Beware that there are 2 versions of this movie on iTunes one priced at $4.99 and one priced at $11.99. Don't know of any difference other than the price.
I saw the 2 versions at the store on the Apple app on my TV. I didn't see the $4.99 version using my computer at the iTunes store.

The 1954 version of Casino Royale with Barry Nelson playing James Bond and Peter Lorre as the villain, Le Chiffre, is on sale on iTunes for $4.99. Does anyone know the video quality of the transfer? The trailer looks pretty bad, but that's not really a good indication.

I believe it was done live per a youtube post and so what exists is a kinescope, a filmed picture of a TV screen, so the quality will most likely be poor.

I was tempted for Picard (and maybe The Good Wife and Twin Peaks), but no 4K makes me reluctant since Picard (at least) is in 4K on Paramount+ -- I actually want 4K more for the higher bitrates than for the 4K rez (or HDR).
