LG smart TVs add Facebook Watch app (1 Viewer)

LG is launching support for the Facebook Watch TV app on webOS smart TVs dating from 2014 through 2020 in all countries where the app is available. LG owners will be able to find and watch videos based on interests and social connections on Facebook. The app is available from the LG Content Store.
According to LG, Facebook Watch attracts more than 1.25 billion viewers every month and allows owners to identify a ‘tailored’ interest in Facebook videos. There are titles related to Pages or Topics as well as recommendations based on what friends are reacting to. Included are categories such as trending subjects, content from creators, news, sports highlights, live videos, and original shows.
For gaming enthusiasts, there are gaming streams and previously-recorded videos from Facebook creators, as well as livestreamed tournaments. Facebook originals include Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith and The Estefans with Gloria Estefan. You can also...
