...and being it's Best Buy, the price will not come down prior to release date.

No U.S. Amazon preorders as Disney no longer uses them.

Pre-ordered the 3D steelbook, might not even bother with this one in theaters since all the ones here are so bad.

Unless the box set pricing changes ($235-250??) I’ll just pick up the original Star Wars films and the new one.

there’s a lot of titles coming in 20. Hopefully the rest of 007, back to the future and jaws.

I'm hoping it's 3 viva elite/amray cases. The BB book looks nice, but I prefer cases to book/digipak.

I’m hoping there is more information soon.
It would be nice to know if there will be different box options.

To have the box option only for Best Buy is just wrong in my opinion. As long as I have them on Disney+, I will refuse to buy any of these movies in 4K separately going forward as "The Last Jedi" will remain my only 4K disc purchase.

I’ll need to wait to see what the bonus material is before making a decision. I’ve already got the 2011 box set with the first six films, and the 3D editions of all the Disney-era films (with the 3D on preorder for TROS). I don’t have a 4K disc player and I have no immediate plans to upgrade my 1080p projector (my primary movie display device) to 4K. And with Disney+, I have access to the 4K versions if I want to watch the new masters. The bonus features are what will make or break this for me and I can’t imagine that there’s $250 worth of value for me in the set. Can’t believe I’m saying that but I don’t think this is a day one buy for me.

I’m feeling the same. The price tag is too high imo. $125-150 and I’m buying right away.

But you would eventually buy the box, right?

I mean, it's great to have these on Disney+ but you don't own them.

What would be your price point to buy the Best Buy boxed set?

Maybe, but I’m not in a hurry to do so.

there’s quite a few other UHd titles coming next year: back to the future, jaws..

hopefully 007 too.

I guess I’ll wait and see what pricing and options look like in March for Star Wars.
