There are some films that are on DVD but are now unavailable or for some other reason could do with a new release (screen format, extras etc)
Most of the ones I want are for DVD's I cannot find anywhere, or if someone knows where I can get any of them, please let me (sorry its pretty long but am an avid dvd collector) know including:

A Cry in the Wild was part of the "White Wolves Collection", and the reason these went out of print is because Disney acquired Roger Corman's library (New Concorde). I don't know if they still have the rights or if someone else now owns these films. White Wolves: A Cry in the Wild II could use a re-release as the original release was edited. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Matt McCoy, David Moscow, Ami Dolenz, and Amy O'Neill (the first two "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" films) starred in this first sequel. Ironically, this did air on the Disney Channel in the 1990s (along with "A Cry in the Wild" and "White Wolves II: Legend of the Wild" starring Elizabeth Berkley). I have this one taped (the Disney Channel broadcast is uncut) and it’s my favorite of the four films. I would love to see this one revisited, but I doubt it will happen.

I do own Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but I don't know if this Artisan Entertainment release will be re-released in the future.

I remember "What the Deaf Man Heard". It was part of CBS's "Hallmark Hall of Fame" series. Great TV movie with a lot of familiar faces, including Matthew Modine (which you mentioned), Jerry O'Connell, James Earl Jones, Tom Skerritt, Bernadette Peters, and Frankie Muniz. I have no clue if you'll see a re-release. Same goes for the "Sarah, Plain & Tall" trilogy. My mom's been bugging me about those.

I also remember "Ordeal in the Arctic". I know Richard Chamberlain also starred in it. And here's something interesting... I don't remember Nathan Fillion being in it. He's listed in the credits on IMDB as "Master Warrant Officer Tom Jardine".

Think I would rather see stuff that HASN'T been released yet. The only DVD re-releases I am really hankering for are;

The Robe
La-Confidential
Cool Hand Luke (not for me, but my dad who loves this film)
Maybe Exodus with a half decent transfer.

Apart from Exodus, the other three have been ear-marked for re-release. So everything I am pre-ordering are new releases.

Nikki - I assume you are looking for region 1 titles. My other suggestion would be to look for used titles on amazon. Some of the prices from resellers are reasonable; and of course some are not. Once again, good luck with your search.

Oh yeah, I am a big fan of Nemesis. I have always been of the opinion that it captured the cyberpunk sensibility better than many higher budgeted productions. One of my favorite guilty pleasure films.
