My wife got me a wireless charging pad for my iPad for my birthday. I’d been holding out, hoping for the power pad. Glad she got me the Anker device instead.

FYI, as you now know, Apple didn't mention the Power Pad. And now Apple has removed pretty much every mention of the Power Pad from its website.

I think the Apple Power Pad is a dead idea.

I read about the removal on a few news sites.

Can't say if it is dead in the water or if we will see it down the road.

Over the last year I have amassed enough wireless chargers for the watch and the phone that my house is littered with them.
