The Abyss 1989 Blu Ray (1 Viewer)

I,m new to this forum so please forgive me if this has been discussed before but is there any news on whether The Abyss will be getting a blu ray release. James Cameron seems to be so preoccupied with his Avatar follow ups but given that this is the 30th anniversary of The Abyss I like millions of others am hoping something is on the horizon.
