Sitting this one out. Couldn't reach $75 for free shipping. Checking past orders it seems I usually order during November sale.

Yeah, I was about to order 2-3 titles, but looks like they're (finally?) enforcing that $75 requirement the way one would've expected (and I wasn't quite prepared to order 4 titles or maybe 3x 4K titles this time) -- we were all guessing about that in previous sales (actually even when it was still just $50), but looks like they musta intended this and finally fixed it.

I have too much disc backlog anyhow on top of all my streaming services *and* (somewhat) recently adding (and loving) AMC A-List, so... :P

Actually, my $120 order said it was going to charge shipping, but in checkout it was free. So, try continuing to checkout to see if it actually does charge shipping.

I was aware of that (from the past) and went to checkout just shy of actually placing the order, but no dice.

I should probably have enough for an order next time me thinks (and probably receive another extra $10 comp GC for the order) -- I'm definitely in no rush to order and watch whatever I'd be ordering... and should really exercise more/better scrutiny and discipline in adding to my collection anyway, heh...

Actually, three 4K titles left me pennies shy of the $75 criteria for free shipping. I ended up buying a 4th title.

Yeah, I also wondered if that would be the case... but didn't doublecheck (as I really didn't have 3 of those on my wishlist). That too seemed a tad bit of gray area at some points in the past, but guess they're gonna be very strict/exact going forward...

Criterion's order form was extremely confusing. On the right it would say Shipping Free .On the left side it would say USPS Shipping $7.95 and Faster shipping was nearly double. Twas free though after $75.00.

There were a couple of interesting 14.97 (sale price) tit;es. AmaZon is less likely to automatically Price Match these.

My general strategy is to buy sets and recent releases through the Criterion.com sales to take best advantage of the $50.00 for $500.00 purchased loyalty rewards. It may take two sales -- but I usually get the $50.00 to use during the current sale.

I believe that was OOS at B&N and not on sale/available during the time I tried to order it at the last B&N sale ...

I ended up sitting this one out. I feel like I've been overspending a bit lately, plus the two titles as the very top of my want list are still upcoming: To Die For and All That Money Can Buy. And subscribing to the Criterion Channel has tended to trim my Criterion want list a bit.

I do have at least $20 worth of coupons but I'll save them for the next flash sale when I should have at least $10 more. I'll have no trouble coming up with a free shipping order by then, which will also put me over the top for a $50 loyalty point gift certificate.
